Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your first chance to create a strong first impression on buyers from a street perspective. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers create their initial opinion of your home and how you perform house's regular maintenance.
Understanding this helps us to choose what actions we can take to attract buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with refreshed paint and colorful garden plants it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and increase your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your home seem to say, "Welcome Home" to a buyer? Walking-through your home with a critical eye, I'll suggest fixes that improve Open House appeal.
I'll help you get rid of pieces that give the appearance of clutter. Tabletops should be neatly arranged. Brick-a-brack, sentimental items, family photos, and kids' artwork should get moved out of sight. We'll de-clutter your house. Disheveled or messy places make your home look less spacious and buyers have a harder time seeing themselves living there.
I know instantly what a room's best features are and how to highlight them. Areas that directly impact your bottom line include easy-to-fix items like pieces of furniture that should get rearranged, rooms that need neutral paint, carpet that needs steaming, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need cleaning.
Working together, we'll make sure your house is neutral and that it's comfortable, avoiding "offensive" or "too-bright" colors on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can think about borrowing furnishings. The goal is for your place to look lived in as opposed to empty.

Setting the Stage
In every opportunity, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses. Shadows are a mood changer and we'll open curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to welcome the buyer. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and assure a delightful aroma circulates throughout your house. We'll include cozy-looking bedspreads, and place pillows on your sofa and bed. Buyers should feel like your current home has the potential to be. |
